Victoria’s Secret & Co. is looking for a dedicated Associate Software Engineer to join their Data Engineering team in Bangalore. This full-time role is ideal for someone with a year or more of experience in data management and software engineering. As part of a dynamic Business Intelligence (BI) team, you’ll create innovative data solutions to support different areas of the business, including sales, finance, manufacturing, HR, and supply chain.

What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll:
- Design and develop data flows and data models that support BI tools.
- Work with report developers to gather data needed for dashboards and reports.
- Support users by managing any data issues and making sure data refresh schedules run smoothly.
- Take on on-call responsibilities to ensure that business goals and service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Maintain documentation for data flows and architecture designs.
What You’ll Need
To be successful in this role, Victoria’s Secret is looking for someone with:
- A Bachelor’s degree in fields like Computer Science, Information Systems, or Mathematics (a Master’s degree is a plus).
- 1-3 years of experience in data engineering, ideally in medium to large-scale data warehouses.
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake for data warehouse projects, and solid skills in SQL for creating complex queries and improving performance.
- Familiarity with Snowflake features like Time Travel, Data Sharing, and Streams.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- ETL tools experience (like Talend or DataStage) is beneficial, along with some understanding of UNIX shell scripting and SQL optimization.
- Participation in design reviews, code reviews, and testing phases.
Extra Skills: Experience with Kafka, Python, or Java will be an advantage, as will having a Snow-Pro certification.
