About the Role
Unifize is looking for a React developer to help design, develop, and maintain their frontend application. You’ll have the opportunity to work on new features, optimize performance, and occasionally contribute to the React Native mobile app. As a part of Unifize’s agile development team, you will collaborate closely with backend engineers to create a smooth and effective experience for users.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Build and improve new features for the React frontend, focusing on scalability and maintainability.
- Enhance performance by reducing bundle sizes and optimizing page rendering and state management.
- Collaborate with backend engineers to design and integrate APIs effectively.
- Help develop a component library and set frontend coding standards.
- Support the legacy mobile app while customers transition to the updated version.
- Track important frontend metrics like Core Web Vitals and Time to Interactive.
What You’ll Bring
To excel in this role, you should have:
- Strong skills in JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with state management (e.g., Redux, MobX) and build tools (like Webpack or Vite).
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and responsive design using modern CSS.
- Familiarity with frontend testing tools (such as Jest and React Testing Library) and version control systems like Git.
- Experience working with REST APIs and GraphQL.
- Great problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
Bonus Skills
