Your Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an experienced professional to support and manage the watsonx.ai solution. In this role, you will provide the technical expertise needed to ensure smooth deployment, operation, and maintenance of our AI studio. The right candidate will have a strong background in artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data science, with experience managing large-scale AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide Technical Support: Help resolve issues and troubleshoot problems with the AI systems.
- Manage Infrastructure: Ensure the infrastructure runs smoothly, maintaining optimal performance and uptime.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with data scientists and engineers to deploy, test, and fine-tune AI models.
- Monitor Performance: Keep an eye on system logs, metrics, and performance data to spot areas that need improvement.
- Develop Automation Tools: Create scripts and tools to automate processes and make things run more efficiently.
- Integrate Systems: Work with different teams to integrate our AI solution with other systems and applications.
- Stay Updated: Keep yourself informed about new features, updates, and best practices in AI technologies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in AI, machine learning, or data science.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of foundation models and generative AI.
- Cloud Experience: Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure like IBM Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical skills to tackle challenges effectively.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with others.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Higher Education: Master’s degree in AI, Data Science, or a related field.
- Certifications: Certification in AI, machine learning, or data science is a plus.
- DevOps Knowledge: Experience with DevOps tools like Kubernetes or Docker.
- Data Security Knowledge: Understanding of data privacy and security best practices.
- Cloud Pak Experience: Familiarity with Cloud Pak for Data and Cloud Pak for Integration.
