Job Summary
Cognizant is looking for a talented Technical Lead to join our energetic team. The ideal candidate should have 7 to 10 years of experience, especially in data visualization with ANSI SQL and Tableau. In this position, you will manage technical projects, create data solutions, and ensure we provide high-quality visual analytics for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
As a Technical Lead, you will:
- Design Solutions: Lead the development of data visualization projects using Tableau.
- Manage Dashboards: Oversee the creation and upkeep of Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Optimize Data Queries: Use your ANSI SQL skills to improve data queries and boost performance.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work with various teams to understand and analyze business needs.
- Ensure Data Accuracy: Make sure that the data shown in visualizations is correct and trustworthy.
- Set Best Practices: Develop and promote best practices for data visualization and reporting.
- Mentor Team Members: Help junior team members enhance their technical skills and support them in their projects.
- Review Data Models: Regularly check data models and visualizations to ensure they meet business goals.
- Troubleshoot Issues: Solve any technical problems related to data visualization tools.
- Stay Updated: Keep up with the latest trends in data visualization and analytics.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders: Work with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions on schedule.
- Implement Security Measures: Ensure data privacy and security in all visualization projects.
- Drive Improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve data visualization processes and methods.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Experience in Data Visualization: Strong skills in using Tableau to create visual reports.
- Knowledge of ANSI SQL: Good understanding of how to query and optimize data.
- Design Skills: Ability to make clear and effective visual representations of data.
- Data Management Knowledge: Familiarity with data modeling and managing databases.
- Teamwork Skills: Ability to work well with different teams.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Attention to detail and skills in addressing issues effectively.
Certifications
- Tableau Desktop Specialist: This certification is beneficial but not required.
