About the Role
As a JAVA Developer at Clarivate, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software applications.
Your work will involve writing clean and efficient code, collaborating with other engineers, and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends. Here’s what you’ll be doing:- Write Quality Code: Develop and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code that meets our coding standards.
- Collaborate with Engineers: Work closely with experienced engineers to enhance your functional knowledge and improve your skills.
- Apply Best Practices: Learn and apply best practices in software development to ensure your work is of the highest quality.
- Understand Development Lifecycle: Develop an understanding of the software development lifecycle and delivery methodologies.
- Suggest Improvements: Propose alternative methods or techniques to achieve better results and improve processes.
- Stay Updated: Keep yourself informed about the latest technical advances and incorporate them into your work.
- Test Your Code: Perform manual and unit testing on your applications to ensure they function correctly.
- Document Your Work: Write technical documentation for the applications you develop.
- Follow Policies: Adhere to team policies, procedures, and work instructions.
What You’ll Need
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience with back-end frameworks, databases, SQL, and RESTful APIs.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and experience with AWS and Git is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Good problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and a willingness to learn and adapt.

You will be working on the Task Management as a Content Platform service.
This service helps manage task workflows and enables content teams at Clarivate Analytics to handle operational activities more effectively. It’s used by various business segments, including Life Sciences & Healthcare, Academic & Government, and Intellectual Property.About the Team
Our team in India is made up of talented developers and testers with a strong technical background. We have expertise in Java, Spring Boot microservices, back-end frameworks, databases, SQL, RESTful APIs, AWS, Git, and Angular. We work together to build and maintain high-quality software solutions.
Work Environment
This is a permanent position with Clarivate, where you’ll be working in the IST time zone. We offer a hybrid work model, giving you the flexibility to work both remotely and in the office. Our work environment is flexible and employee-friendly, with a 9-hour workday including a 1-hour lunch break.
